    Our Students

About half our graduates start careers in industry after completing the program. Example job titles include Data Scientist, Bioinformatician, Quantitative Analyst, and Bioinformatics Engineer. Graduates have gone on to careers at Bristol Meyers Squib, Merck, Tempus, Prevention Genetics, Recombia Biosciences, Children's National Hospital, and more.

Roughly one-third of our graduates start a PhD program the year they graduate. Some graduates have started PhD programs here at Weill Cornell (Computational Biology and Medicine, Physiology, Biophysics, and Systems Biology), others have moved to Columbia University, Georgia Tech, University of Washington, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, among others.

Other graduates start as research associates in university labs, including at Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I have enjoyed exploring a bunch of different areas of research, specifically those to which I was completely new. Everyone here has been extremely supportive and there has been a lot of room for growth. Overall it's been really fun figuring out what I'd like to do moving forward.

Weill Cornell is unique in how focused it is on medical science research. There is no other institution where I can so easily find professors to collaborate with for clinical research. In the short time I have spent in the program, I have meaningfully contributed to several projects that will be published.
