Program Affiliations
Research

Dr. Prince develops new imaging techniques and methods for image analysis. His research on pioneering imaging advances throughout the body complement his clinical work as a practicing Body Radiologist with a heavy emphasis on MRI. Recently he has been using AI for automating imaging analysis extracting organ and tissue volume information pertinent to health for tracking diseases and opportunistic health screening.

Biography

Dr. Prince completed his MD from Harvard Medical School and PhD from MIT in biomedical engineering and biophysics. He interned in medicine at USCF, completed radiology residency and fellowships in angiography and MRI at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Prince received the ISMRM Gold Medal for developing contrast enhanced MR Angiography and has also pioneered new MRI techniques for cardiac, pulmonary, liver, brain, kidney, pancreas, muscle, bone and soft tissue imaging. Currently he is half time clinical and half time research focusing on supervising students developing imaging techniques that can immediately be applied to helping image patients.
