Research
We 1. push the limits of what AI large language models can do for clinical data mining, 2. build clinically actionable risk models, and 3. validate AI risk models clinically with prospective, interventional clinical trials.
Biography

I am a board-certified medical oncologist and physician-scientist on the Thoracic Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I also lead a research laboratory that studies how to best use AI natural language processing and risk modeling to improve predict patient outcomes. I also serve as Co-Director of MSK’s Thoracic Liquid Biopsy Program, Associate Editor for JCO Precision Oncology, and as a Medical Advisory Board member for OpenEvidence. I aim to use translate advances in AI, real-world data modeling, and genomics to improve cancer detection and treatment.
