The mission of my research program is to address basic and clinical questions at the intersection of cancer metabolism, mitochondrial genetics, and cancer genomics, with a focus on translational applications in kidney cancer. Our research focuses on developing cutting-edge informatic and modeling approaches to address a single overarching question: how genotype and the tumor microenvironment cooperatively shape metabolic phenotypes.
Biography
Ed Reznick completed his Bachelor’s Degree Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University in Biological Engineering in 2008. He subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2013. From 2013-2017, he was a postdoctoral fellow/staff scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with Chris Sander and Niki Schultz. Since 2017, Reznick has been a faculty member at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
